About Redding Legal

Purpose-Built for Innovation

Headquartered in New York, Redding Legal combines deep industry knowledge with a forward-thinking legal approach to help businesses succeed in a rapidly evolving world. We guide technology-driven companies—from pre-seed startups to global enterprises—through complex legal landscapes with clarity, precision, and purpose.

Every engagement is grounded in business context, execution focus, and smart risk alignment. We operate as an extension of our clients’ teams—pragmatic, commercial, and fully invested in their success.

Practice areas

Technology Transactions & Outsourcing

We draft and negotiate enterprise‑service agreements, managed‑services contracts, SaaS licensing, cloud‑infrastructure agreements, and global outsourcing arrangements. We help clients move quickly through procurement and deployment cycles while safeguarding intellectual property, data rights, and business continuity.

Commercial Transactions

We advise on reseller and licensing deals, partner and distribution arrangements, procurement agreements, master service agreements, and strategic commercial contracts across products and services. Our goal is clarity, enforceability, and alignment to business strategy.

Data Protection, Privacy & Cybersecurity

We help clients design and implement privacy and data‑protection frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA), vendor‑risk processes, cross‑border data‑transfer compliance, data‑use policies, and data governance tied to SaaS/cloud/AI operations.

Artificial Intelligence

We advise on commercial and data-related legal issues arising from the use of AI-powered tools and services. Our work includes reviewing vendor agreements, negotiating data and IP terms, and helping clients address risk and compliance considerations tied to evolving AI laws and guidance.

Digital & Transformative Technologies

We work with companies rolling out or scaling digital products, cloud‑native platforms, and services — advising on licensing, cloud‑infrastructure arrangements, SaaS/subscription models, API/data licensing, and compliance with evolving regulatory and data‑privacy regimes.

Emerging Companies / Venture Capital

We advise founders, investors, and early‑stage ventures on entity formation, equity and convertible‑debt financings, commercial operations readiness, and legal infrastructure necessary for growth. We help position companies for scale with contractual, data, and compliance frameworks that support future rounds, partnership, and enterprise operations.
